4. Matters arising from meeting of 28th March 2024

2024/76 North &Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency have rung to say that they aim to monitor the pitch on the A483 at some point during the week beginning 22/4 – the device will be manually operated

2024/138 (2024/71) County Cllr Jonathan Wilkinson reminded for an update as Chairman of the  Severn catchment liaison group.

2024/139 (2024/72) Freedom of Information sent into Powys C.C re: cost of replanting of the Roundabout

2024/162 Enquiry sent to Hafren Dyfrddwy re: capacity of Four crosses Sewerage Works and also how the Cae Offa new Estate will connect onto the system

2024/173 Confirmation received that Councillors can still decide to opt out of the £156 Councillors Allowance – letter circulated to each Councillor explaining the position re: P.A.Y.E if the Allowance is claimed

2024/175 Four crosses Village Centre Committee are applying for a Grant for the Community Ownership Fund to repair the Gable End – this fund will only cover 80% of the cost if successful – looking for some match funding if possible

2024/178 Tenders sent out for work to trim trees at Parc Hafod and pollard Goat Willow by footpath on Sports & recreation Field

2024/192 Clerk looked at signage to try and prevent Dog Fouling along the Canal

c) Update re: 23/0904/REM Extension of time limit at Four Crosses Pub

d) Further plans submitted online with regard to the replacement garage re:24/0021/HH 2 Church Cottage

Further letter sent to say that Old School House is not shown on the block plan and the height of the Garage will dwarf the property

i) 24/0475/FUL Siting of 2 Polytunnels and associated works at Four Crosses Nursery for Mr Swain – plan attached

ii) 24/0402/FUL Lean-to agricultural building at the Meadows, Trewylan for Mr & Mrs Friend
